Enrollment for sessions will open on Friday, December 9th at 8:00 A.M. and close at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, December 11th. Seating is limited to 22 participants per session.

Half Day Session 1:00-4:00: Getting Started with Guided Reading in Kindergarten
High Yield Strategy: Differentiation Room: IMMS Room 151 Presenter: Jessica Estillette Description: Use Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment data to form Guided Reading groups and select goals for groups and individuals. Learn about the Guided Reading cycle through watching videos, reading information, and class discussion. Half Day Session 1:00-4:00: Special Education Paraprofessional Training
High Yield Strategy: Building Relationships, Differentiation Room: IMMS Auditorium Presenter: Lynn Jameson Audience: Special Ed Paraprofessionals and Special Ed Teachers Description: Students with disabilities are successfully included in general education classrooms. This training is designed to define the roles and responsibilities of the special education paraprofessional from confidentiality to supporting content and instruction. All Day Session 8:00-4:30: Initial CPI Training at IMMS Cafeteria (Invitation Only - Lynn Jameson will contact all participants prior to training.)
High Yield Strategy: Differentiation, Compliance Room: IMMS Library Reference Room Presenters: Sal Limas and Lori Boucher Description: CPI is a best practice approach and safe behavior management method that focuses on prevention. Through a variety of specialized offerings and innovative resources, CPI educates and empowers professionals to create safe and respectful work environments and enrich the lives of the individuals they serve. Practical skills and strategies to safely manage disruptive or difficult behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care will be reviewed. DIP 1.16.2: Provide flexible professional learning opportunities in the form of EdCamps, Twitter Chats, Professional Learning Communities, Blending Learning courses, online courses, and through reflection activities.
